Meet Our Founder

Daniel Carr

Daniel Carr's construction career began as a kid working alongside his father. That early experience grew into a long-term commitment to the construction industry and to building companies of his own. Daniel started his first company in 2008 and sold it in 2012. He later launched another construction business, which he sold in 2018.

After that, Daniel took on a government contracting role supporting work at military and Department of Energy facilities, including hospitals. He led a team of engineers documenting buildings and their physical systems in BUILDER software. The work gave him a deeper understanding of how a building's structural, mechanical, electrical, and other systems fit together—and shaped the systems-based perspective he brings to construction today.

Daniel founded Carr Development in 2021, initially focused on residential development before expanding into municipal infrastructure and related construction work. Today, he leads the company's estimating, project coordination, and client relationships, drawing on experience in sitework, excavation, utilities, drainage, land development, and general contracting.

An Alabama-licensed general contractor with building construction and municipal underground utility qualifications, Daniel works directly with public agencies, engineers, project managers, and construction partners to understand project needs and coordinate practical, dependable execution.

He values clear communication, careful planning, and being a partner people can reach and rely on.
